Indotnesia - Sederet penyanyi Korea berhasil memperoleh penghargaan Daesang Melon Music Award (MMA) 2022. Di antara idol K-pop itu, IVE membawa pulang piala utama.
Ajang MMA 2022 yang berlangsung pada, Sabtu (26/11/2022) telah mengumumkan para pemenang penghargaan. Girl group pendatang baru dari Starship Entertainment IVE meraih piala utama atau Daesang.
Mereka memenangkan empat penghargaan, yaitu Song of the Year, Best Group (Female), New Artist of the Year, dan Top 10 Artist. Pencapaian itu didapatkan IVE kurang dari setahun debutnya.
Momen itu lantas membuat keenam personilnya Jang Wong-Young, Rei, An Yu-Jin, LIZ, Leeseo, dan Ga-Eul terharu dan menitikkan air mata saat menerima penghargaan.
Selain IVE, boyband BTS juga memperoleh empat penghargaan, yaitu Record of the Year, Best Group (Male), KakaoBank Everyone’s Star Award, dan Top 10 Artist. Dari penghargaan itu, Bangtan Boys raih Daesang keempat.
Sementara, kategori penyanyi solo dimenangkan oleh Lim Young-Woong dan IU. Lim Young mendapat penghargaan Artist of the Year dan Album of the Year untuk album ‘IM HERO’, sedangkan IU jadi Best Solo Artist (Female).
